MESSAGE FROM THE CAPTAIN

I hope this email finds you and your family safe and well. It has certainly been a strange and difficult time for us all since March 2020.

You will no doubt realise that due to the current Government Covid-19 Restrictions it is no longer possible to hold the Renfrewshire Ladies County Golf Association (RLCGA) 111th AGM and Prize-Giving scheduled to take place at Haggs Castle Golf Club on Wednesday 4th November 2020.

The Committee investigated the feasibility of holding a ‘virtual’ AGM, however as this would require a Constitutional change to enable this, and there are no decisions to be made nor changes in Office Bearers/Committee members, it was decided to cancel this year’s AGM. The requisite Constitutional change is a matter we will address at our 2021 AGM or beforehand, if required.

A Club News Article and members email with links to the relevant Office Bearer Reports will be sent out on 4 November 2020. The 2021 Fixture List will be listed in the Secretary’s Report and updated on the County website. Whilst the competition dates have been agreed with each Club representative, they are subject to possible change, hence the reason that no Fixture Cards are being printed at this time. Should anyone have any questions in relation to the Reports please email the relevant Office Bearer, copying in myself, and we will respond as soon as possible.

Thank you again for your support during these uncertain times and, hopefully, I’ll see you all on the golf course at some point during 2021.
